Travelling to Le Pierrotin

Easy to reach from the airport

The apartment is a short ride by Taxi from the airport at Toulouse Blagnac. You can use mobile apps such Uber, Bolt or Freenow. Driving time can be 10 minutes or less. And, as you can see from the screenshots, prices can be under €15 for a one-way trip.

 

Note that there can be times when traffic congestion can make travelling considerably longer. The screenshots shown here are for a Sunday morning!

Public Transport

Toulouse is not a great place to have a car, and given that the location of Le Pierrotin means that you can reach most sites on foot or using the extensive Bus, Tram and Metro network as shown in this plan.

The closest Metro stations are at St Cyprien République, Esquirol and Capitol (all on Metro Line A) and Compans Caffarelli (Line B). All are less than 15 minutes away.

Parking

If you do want to park, there are usually spaces in the streets surrounding Le Perrotin if you avoid arriving after around 19h in the evening when it can get difficult.

Parking is free overnight (from 8pm  till 9am and on Sundays and holidays.

However, parking during the day can end up being expensive - 3€ for 2 hours. 

There are Parkmeters, but it is better and simpler to use one of these three mobile apps

If you are a resident, you can get a residential parking permit from the City Council - information about this is provided here.  It costs €135 a year, but is free if you have an electric car.

If you have an electric car, you can park for 2h30 for free, even if you are not a resident. For that, you need to declare the vehicle with the Toulouse City Council via this website.
